Mesa, AZ (January 17, 2020) – Officers from the Mesa Police Department are searching for a driver believed to have run over and killed a man during a road-rage incident last weekend. 

Police referred to the incident as a hit-and-run homicide and said that it occurred just after 8:00 p.m. on January 11th at 825 S. Alma School Rd. near Southern Avenue, Detective Brandi George said.

The accident started as a road-rage incident in which a man exited the vehicle and was run over by the suspect, George said. 

The man who died was in his early 20s but was not identified by police. The vehicle involved was described by police as a white 2003 Dodge quad-cab pickup truck with Arizona license plate CK14318.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
