Chandler, AZ – Toddler Dies After Drowning Accident at Warner Rd & Dobson Rd
Chandler, AZ (January 24, 2020) – A 20-month-old boy has died after drowning in a backyard pool in Chandler on Friday morning.
According to police officials from the Chandler Police Department, the toddler was discovered in the pool by family members at a home near Warner Road and Dobson Road in Chandler.
Individuals at the scene attempted CPR on the child before the Chandler Fire Department arrived. The child was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition via ambulance but did not survive.
Detective Jason Flam of the Mesa Police Department said that foul play is not suspected but that the accident remains under investigation at this time.
