Chandler, AZ – 2 Injured in Bus Accident at Calypso Blvd & Hackberry Dr
Chandler, AZ (January 31, 2020) – A school bus occupied by Hamilton High School students was involved in a crash on Friday morning in Chandler, injuring a student and the bus driver.
According to officers from the Chandler Police Department, two vehicles collided around 7:00 a.m. at Calypso Boulevard and Hackberry Drive, causing one of them to hit the bus head-on. Chandler police Sgt. Jason McClimans said that there were 16 high school students on board the bus, and one student and the bus driver were taken to a hospital via ambulance with minor injuries.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
