Golden Valley, AZ – Boy Killed in Off-Roading Accident at Estrella Rd & Chino Dr
Golden Valley, AZ (January 31, 2020) – A 9-year-old boy who was initially reported missing in Golden Valley has been found dead after an apparent off-roading accident.
Officials said that the boy was found dead by Mohave County Sheriff’s Office authorities on Thursday. The Sheriff’s Office said that they had received word at around 6:45 p.m. on Thursday that the boy had last been seen around noon on a dark green 1996 Yamaha 600 all-terrain vehicle.
Searchers canvassed the area and found the boy in a wash near Estrella Road and Chino Drive around 9:15 p.m. that night. They say that the all-terrain vehicle was located nearby.
Medical personnel attempted CPR and other life-saving measures, but the child was ultimately declared dead on the scene. Officers state that an investigation into the boy’s death is still ongoing.
