Buckeye, AZ – 5 Teens Hospitalized After Crash on Fifth Ave at Alarcon Blvd
Buckeye, AZ (February 24, 2020) – Officers from the Buckeye Police Department are investigating a Friday night crash that sent five teenagers to a hospital.
The crash, which occurred around 7:15 p.m. on Fifth Avenue West between Alarcon Boulevard and Escalante Avenue, involved a 16-year-old driver along with two 18-year-old passengers and one 17-year-old passenger. Buckeye Police Department spokesperson Donna Rossi said that the four teenagers were all transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
The fifth person hurt in the accident, a 16-year-old male, was apparently outside of the vehicle when authorities arrived on the scene and sustained life-threatening injuries. He was transported to an area hospital, where he remains in extremely critical condition as of Monday afternoon.
The accident is still under investigation, according to Rossi.
