Queen Creek, AZ (February 27, 2020) – One man is dead after a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Queen Creek on Thursday afternoon.

Officers from the local police department, the wreck happened at Ironwood Road and Pima Road just before 3:00 p.m. The man who died was the only person in his car, and the second vehicle was a van that had a woman and two children inside.

The woman and two children sustained minor injuries but didn’t need to go to the hospital, the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office said. It’s unclear whether speed or impairment were factors, but an investigation is underway.
