Phoenix, AZ – Injuries Reported in Rear-End Crash on I-10 at Riggs Rd
Phoenix, AZ (June 20, 2020) – At least one person was injured in a rear-end crash on Interstate 10 on Saturday afternoon.
Per reports from the Phoenix Police Department, one person was treated at the scene by Phoenix EMTs and another appeared to be transported to an area hospital after the multi-car accident, which occurred in the left lanes of the highway on I-10 near Riggs Road. Multiple units from the Phoenix Fire Department were at the scene to assist victims shortly after the wreck occurred at 6:30 p.m.
Authorities say that the crash investigation is ongoing at this time; however, the drivers’ information, as well as the extent of the injuries, remains unknown.
