Phoenix, AZ – Officers Investigating Injury Crash on I-10 at 43rd Ave
Phoenix, AZ (June 26, 2020) – A multi-car crash on Interstate 10 at 43rd Avenue caused traffic delays on the interstate and resulted in at least one injured victim on Friday evening.
According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, traffic was diverted by authorities due to the crash, which blocked the left and center lanes. It is unclear how many victims were injured in the crash or how the crash was caused, though it appears at least three cars collided and a tractor-trailer may have been involved in the westbound I-10 wreck. Paramedics appeared to transport one victim to the hospital, though it’s unclear which vehicle the victim was traveling in.
The wreck remains under investigation at this time.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
