Phoenix, AZ – Five Injured in Two-Car Crash at 43rd Ave & Peoria Ave
Phoenix, AZ (December 26, 2020) – A serious accident has sent five people to an area medical center, including three children, on Saturday night.
Per reports from the Phoenix Fire Department, crews responded to the crash between two cars at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Peoria Avenue around 8:00 p.m. An 8-year-old girl, 13-year-old boy, 27-year-old woman, and a 32-year-old woman were all transported to the hospital via ambulance. All victims were in critical condition when they were admitted. A 9-year-old boy was also rushed to a hospital but sustained minor injuries and is in stable condition.
Officers are working to determine the events that led up to the crash. There was no word on the cause of the accident, but both speed and impairment are under investigation as possible causes.
