Phoenix, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Crash Blocks I-17 Near Thomas Rd
Phoenix, AZ (July 20, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash on Saturday night, July 20th, blocked the center and right lanes of I-17 just south of Thomas Road.
Authorities were on the scene of the injury accident, which occurred when several vehicles traveling southbound collided on I-17, also known as the Black Canyon Freeway, around 9:30 p.m. Fire rescue units and Phoenix police were on the scene, assisting the victims and investigating the cause of the wreck. At least three vehicles appear to be involved in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation, but officials have not released the victims’ information at this time.
