Mesa, AZ – Accident Blocks Several Lanes on L-101 at Elliot Rd
Mesa, AZ (August 3, 2019) – A multi-vehicle accident on Saturday afternoon, August 3rd, blocked the HOV lane, the left lane, and part of the right lane on Loop 101 at Elliot Road in Mesa.
Authorities responded to the scene around 6:45 p.m., after multiple vehicles collided in the southbound lanes of L-101, also known as the Price Freeway, around 6:30 p.m. Police and fire rescue units were also on the scene of the injury wreck, which closed the three lanes of traffic for about an hour. First responders were assisting injured victims and investigating the cause of the collision.
The drivers’ information and their current conditions have not been released, but all lanes were cleared by 7:30 p.m.
