Tucson, AZ – Left Lane Blocked by Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-10 at Kino Rd

Tucson, AZ (August 17, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash blocked the left lane of traffic on Interstate 10 past Kino Road on Saturday morning, August 17th.

Officials at the scene said that at least two vehicles collided in the left lanes of I-10 westbound, also called the Pima Freeway, near Kino Road around 6:00 a.m. Police and fire rescue units were also at the scene, assisting injured victims and investigating the cause of the collision. However, they have not released the drivers’ information or the extent of their injuries at this time.

All lanes reopened by 7:00 a.m.

Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.

Multi-Vehicle Crashes in Arizona

According to the most recent crash report released by the Arizona Department of Transportation, nearly 35,000 accident injuries occurred across the state in 2018 alone. And per last year’s data, more than half of last year’s 55,000 total crashes included two or more vehicles.

Exorbitant medical expenses, critical long-term injuries, and even job loss or death are just a few of the unforeseen, often tragic consequences that can affect both victims and their families after an accident. But those affected by these unfortunate incidents can contact a Phoenix car accident lawyer for help, and in some cases, seek fair compensation from a personal injury or wrongful death lawsuit.

Our accident attorneys at ELG Law have years of experience fighting for victims and their families and seeking fair compensation for those affected by accidents. Contact our car accident lawyers at (623) 562-3838 to schedule your free consultation today and learn more about your options.
