Phoenix, AZ – 17-Year-Old Badly Injured in Car Crash on Carefree Highway
Phoenix, AZ (August 20, 2019) – Police responded to the scene of a car crash that took place on the Carefree Highway and led to severe injuries to a 17-year-old on Saturday morning.
According to Phoenix Police, the crash took place around 1 a.m. At the time, the teenage boy had been driving westbound in a Chevy Silverado at a high rate of speed when he suddenly lost control of the vehicle.
Police claim that the vehicle started to rotate between lanes and then completely rolled in the westbound lanes, which caused the minor to be ejected from the vehicle.
The boy was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but his condition is unknown at this time.
