Glendale, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Wreck Blocks L-101 On-Ramp at Glendale Ave
Glendale, AZ (September 1, 2019) – A multi-vehicle wreck blocked the Glendale Avenue on-ramp of Loop 101 early Sunday morning.
Authorities say that the wreck involved at least two sedans, both of which ran off the road. The cars collided on the Glendale Avenue on-ramp on L-101 southbound, also known as the Agua Fria Freeway, around 2:35 a.m.
Fire rescue and police units were on-site assisting injured victims and investigating the cause of the wreck.
However, authorities have not released the drivers’ information or the extent of their injuries.
The on-ramp reopened by 4:00 a.m.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families at this time. We hope for their full recovery.
Multi-Vehicle Wrecks in Arizona
Of the total accidents that occurred in Arizona last year, more than half involved more than two vehicles. In fact, a recent report released by the Arizona Department of Transportation showed that more than 55,000 car accidents occurred, meaning that more than 25,000 of those were multi-vehicle wrecks.
Multiple vehicle accidents, especially that happen as a result of other drivers’ negligent actions, can have tragic, unforeseen effects on victims and their families. Whether it’s medical bills, serious long-term injuries or even job loss, devastating results may plague victims and their families. But those affected can contact a Phoenix personal injury lawyer for help, and in some cases, victims may seek the fair compensation they deserve from wrongful death or personal injury lawsuit.
