Phoenix, AZ – 2-Car Crash Causes Injuries on I-10 at 7th Ave
Phoenix, AZ (September 15, 2019) – Officials from the Phoenix Police Department responded to a two-car accident which resulted in at least one injury on Interstate 10 on Sunday afternoon.
Phoenix police were joined at the scene by Phoenix fire rescue units around 4:30 p.m. According to a spokesman from the Phoenix Fire Department, at least two vehicles collided in the right lanes of I-10 westbound at 7th Avenue. The crash occurred at the end of the Deck Park Tunnel and involved one black Ford pickup truck and a red Honda sedan. It appears that the red sedan rear-ended the black pickup truck.
Local paramedics transported at least one of the victims to an area hospital in Phoenix, though the extent of their injuries isn’t clear at this time. Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the wreck.
