Chandler, AZ – Woman Hospitalized After Drowning Near Alma School Rd

Chandler, AZ (October 4, 2019) – A woman was hospitalized after she was found in a residential pool in Chandler.

According to officials from the Chandler Fire Department, the woman, believed to be in her 40s, was found face down in the pool Thursday evening. The swimming pool is located in a neighborhood southeast of Queen Creek Road and Alma School Road.

The woman was transported to the hospital via ambulance after Chandler fire officials provided care at the scene. No further details about the women’s identity or current condition were immediately available. At this time, it is unclear who owns the pool.

Officers from the Chandler Police Department are investigating.
