Mesa, AZ – Toddler Hospitalized After Drowning at Dobson & Baseline Rds
Mesa, AZ (October 19, 2019) – A toddler was transported to the hospital after a near-drowning in Mesa on Saturday.
According to officials from the Mesa Police Department, the incident occurred at an apartment near Dobson and Baseline Roads. Police say that the 2-year-old child was found in a pond area and first responders began life-saving measures as soon as they discovered the toddler. When EMTs arrived on the scene, the child was taken to the hospital.
The child’s condition is unknown at this time.
No other details have been released, but authorities are still investigating the accident at this time.
