Drowning Accidents in Phoenix

Because of the warm, dry weather in Arizona, many residents have their own pools and most commercial properties have a water feature. And statistically, those who live near water or have exposure to pools are more likely to experience drowning resulting in injury or death. Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death for toddlers and preschool-aged children, with several victims drowning in circumstances caused by negligence.

Statistics show that nearly 400 children under the age of 15 drown each year countrywide. When young children encounter unfenced pools or ponds on another individual’s property, they may fall in and drown. These drowning accidents can result in tragic, unforeseen circumstances for victims and their families.

But those affected by these unfortunate incidents can contact a personal injury lawyer, especially when they’ve been involved in drowning accidents due to the negligent actions of other parties
