Whiteriver, AZ – 4-Vehicle Collision in Westbound Lanes of US-60
Whiteriver, AZ (October 22, 2019) – This morning around 7:30 a.m., The Arizona Department of Transportation responded to a four-vehicle collision in the westbound lanes of US-60.
Police did not comment on the exact circumstances leading up to the accident but it appears that a vehicle merged into another, setting off a chain-reaction collision.
The crash closed down the left lane of traffic completely, causing massive delays for those coming through around rush hour. Police worked diligently to investigate and clear the scene.
The presence of multiple emergency responders also caused delays for some time. Paramedics assisted those with injuries, however, their conditions are not yet known to the public.
At this time, the investigation into the circumstances of the accident continues.
Our thoughts are with the injured victims and their families in hopes of a full recovery.
