Surprise, AZ – Fatal Scooter Crash Involving Teen on Greenway Rd

Surprise, AZ (October 29, 2019) – This past week, a 15-year-old child was struck and killed in a scooter crash on Greenway Road in Surprise, Arizona.

Firefighters said the boy was crossing Greenway Road on his scooter when he was struck by a vehicle. He was already pronounced deceased by the time crews arrived at the scene of the collision.

Police believe that the teen was in a crosswalk at the time of the accident. It is believed that the driver remained at the scene of the crash.

The investigation into the accident is ongoing at this time.
