Phoenix, AZ – Officers Injured in Hit-and-Run Wreck at 32nd St & Greenway Rd
Phoenix, AZ (November 2, 2019) – A Phoenix police SUV rolled over and two officers were injured on Friday afternoon after a hit-and-run collision.
According to officials from the Phoenix Police Department, two officers suffered minor injuries in the wreck and were taken to the hospital as a precaution. Traffic was restricted at 32nd Street and Greenway Road after the accident, which occurred on Greenway Road at 30th Street. Per reports from officers, a four-door coupe turned in front of the Chevy Tahoe patrol vehicle and caused the collision.
Authorities were actively searching for the driver of the other vehicle that collided with the officers. The driver fled the scene on foot after the crash occurred.
No other information was immediately available, though authorities are still investigating the accident at this time.
