El Mirage, AZ – Serious Injury Reported in Head-on Collision at Grand Ave
El Mirage, AZ (November 12, 2019) – A driver was trapped and seriously injured after a head-on crash on Grand Avenue in El Mirage on Tuesday night.
Around 9:00 p.m., the Arizona Department of Transportation said that the westbound lanes of Grand Avenue were shut down at Thompson Ranch Road due to the multi-vehicle accident. The eastbound lanes were restricted as authorities and paramedics arrived at the scene. It is unclear how the crash happened or how many vehicles were involved, though it appears that paramedics were able to free the driver from their vehicle and transport them to the hospital via ambulance.
Authorities are still investigating the accident at this time.
