Phoenix, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Crash on I-10 at 51st Ave Results in Injuries
Phoenix, AZ (November 12, 2019) – The Phoenix Police Department responded to a serious multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 10 on Tuesday night.
According to information from the scene, at least three vehicles collided in the right westbound lanes of I-10 at 51st Avenue around 6:10 p.m. Rescue units from the Phoenix Fire Department were at the scene to assist victims and closed the off-ramp at 51st to clear the crash debris. Paramedics arrived on the scene shortly after the wreck occurred and appeared to transport at least one victim to a local area hospital, although no word has been given on the severity of that victim’s injuries or any other victims’ injuries.
Officials are still working to determine the cause of the crash and have not released further information.
