Goodyear, AZ – Boy Hit & Killed by School Bus Near 144th Ave & Indian School Rd
Goodyear, AZ (November 15, 2019) – A boy has died after being hit by a school bus in Goodyear on Friday afternoon.
According to officers from the Goodyear Police Department, the incident happened around 4:00 p.m. near 144th Avenue and Indian School Road, close to Western Sky Middle School. Goodyear police say the victim is between 12 and 14 years old. Authorities arrived at the scene shortly after the incident occurred and said that the boy had life-threatening injuries when he was transported to the hospital. Rescue units from the Goodyear Fire Department said that he later succumbed to his injuries.
It is unclear how the incident occurred, but authorities say that the accident remains under investigation at this time.
