Phoenix, AZ – Officer Hospitalized After 3-Car Crash at 32nd St & Broadway Rd
Phoenix, AZ (November 19, 2019) – A police officer was transported to the hospital after a three-vehicle crash in Phoenix on Tuesday night.
Per reports from the Phoenix Fire Department, the crash happened in the area of 32nd Street and Broadway Road around 5:45 p.m. While the initial report from fire rescue units had crews prepared for an extrication operation, the first firefighters on the scene determined that it was not necessary.
The officer was taken to the hospital via ambulance, and the other two people involved in the crash chose not to go to the hospital, according to a spokesman for the Phoenix Fire Department. It’s not clear what happened in the moments leading up to the crash, though the Phoenix Police Department is investigating at this time.
