Buckeye, AZ – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Accident on I-10 Near Rainbow Rd
Buckeye, AZ (December 1, 2019) – On Sunday afternoon, a multi-vehicle accident on Interstate 10 near MC-85 and Rainbow Road resulted in several injuries.
The Arizona Department of Transportation tweeted that a collision near State Route 85 in Buckeye delayed traffic and resulted in at least one serious injury. The drivers were able to move their vehicles off the roadway shortly after the wreck occurred. Fire rescue units and police officers were dispatched to the scene to assist the crash victims. According to the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, at least one person was transported to an area hospital via ambulance.
It appears that this victim sustained critical injuries, while the other victims were treated at the scene of the accident. The victims’ information, as well as their current conditions, is unknown.
Authorities closed the road while they worked to determine the cause of the crash and clear the scene.
