Tucson, AZ (December 4, 2019) – Detectives from the Tucson Police Department are investigating a serious pedestrian accident near Pima Community College’s Downtown Campus, an official said. 

Officers briefly shut down North Stone Avenue from East Drachman Street and East Helen Street due to the crash. According to Officer Ray Smith, a police spokesman, police are still investigating and have not given an update on the victim’s current condition. Tucson paramedics were at the scene to treat the victim and appeared to transport them to the hospital.
