Tempe, AZ – Injuries Reported in Multi-Vehicle Wreck on L-101 at University Dr
Tempe, AZ (December 14, 2019) – Injuries were reported after a crash on Loop 101 near University Drive on Saturday afternoon.
According to officers from the Tempe Police Department, the accident involving several vehicles happened on northbound Loop 101 at University Drive. Officials from the Arizona Department of Public Safety confirmed the accident and said that one of the vehicles involved was a food truck that started leaking propane after the collision.
The northbound of L-101 closed at University Drive due to the crash while police investigated. Tempe paramedics were at the scene and appeared to treat victims on the site, though it’s unclear if any injured persons were transported to a hospital as well.
The accident remains under investigation at this time.
