Tucson, AZ – Multi-Car Crash Causes Injuries & Backup on I-10 at Alvernon Way
Tucson, AZ (December 31, 2019) – A multi-vehicle crash heavily restricted Interstate 10 and resulted in multiple injuries on Tuesday evening.
According to reports from the Department of Public Safety, the wreck occurred around 7:45 p.m. on I-10, just before Alvernon Way. Crews were at the scene of the crash, which appeared to involve at least three or four sedans. Fire rescue units assisted victims at the scene and paramedics transported two people to the hospital via ambulance.
Officers from the Tucson Police Department are still investigating the accident and have not released details on the victims’ current conditions.
