Glendale, AZ – UPDATE: Man Dies After Hit-and-Run Crash at Glendale Ave
Glendale, AZ (January 12, 2020) – Police are searching for a driver who hit two people and drove off Saturday night, leaving one man dead and a teen seriously injured.
According to police, a man and a 17-year-old girl were in a crosswalk when they were hit mid-block on Glendale Avenue near 51st Avenue. Both were taken to area hospitals via ambulance in serious condition. Authorities say that the teen is expected to survive her injuries but said that the man has died from his injuries.
Officers believe the vehicle was an SUV or truck but don’t have further details about the driver or their car. The crash remains under investigation at this time.
