Juan Ramirez has a passion for helping clients who have been seriously injured navigate the challenges of a personal injury case.
Mr. Ramirez earned a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Arizona State University. Following graduation, he worked as a project engineer manager at the Yuma Proving Grounds as a Department of Defense contractor. There, he oversaw testing of military vehicles during the Iraq conflict. After that, Mr. Ramirez returned to Phoenix, AZ to work as a communications engineer for Arizona Public Service. During this time, Mr. Ramirez became interested in issues affecting his community and volunteered for several charitable organizations.
It was this connection with the community that motivated Mr. Ramirez to pursue a career in the legal field. In law school, he was an active member of the Hispanic Law Student Association and the Federalist Society. Mr. Ramirez also served in several student leadership roles, including president of the Thomas More Society and secretary of the Asian Pacific American Law Students Association. Mr. Ramirez graduated from Phoenix School of Law and was admitted into the State Bar of Arizona in 2014.
Mr. Ramirez is deeply committed to serving his community and is involved in service-oriented organizations. Currently, Mr. Ramirez serves on the governing board for West-MEC High School’s District 1. “The most rewarding part of being on the board has been witnessing the positive impact career technical education (CTE) has on students,” says Mr. Ramirez. “CTE fuels students’ desire to learn, increases self-confidence, and creates career and academic opportunities.”
He also serves on the board of the Thomas More Society of Phoenix, and formerly served on the boards of Valley of the Sun Kiwanis and Catholic Phoenix, and is a graduate of the Tepeyac Leadership Initiative. Mr. Ramirez is also an active member with Los Abogados Hispanic Bar Association and the Arizona Trial Lawyers Association.
