Avondale, AZ – Fatality & Serious Injuries Reported in Wreck at Dysart Rd
Avondale, AZ (October 23, 2019) – One person is dead and another person has been hospitalized after they were involved in a crash early Wednesday morning.
According to authorities from the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, four vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred on MC-85 between Dysart Road and El Mirage Road around 12:39 a.m. MCSO said two people were underneath one vehicle securing tow straps when another car rear-ended one of the vehicles involved, injuring both individuals.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and rushed both of the injured individuals to a local area hospital, where one of them died. The other person is still in the hospital with life-threatening injuries. MCSO said that the other people involved in the accident sustained only minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time, and MC-85 is closed between Dysart and El Mirage while authorities investigate.
