Avondale, AZ – Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Crash on I-10 WB
Avondale, AZ (January 15, 2020) – A serious injury accident in Avondale is under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
According to Avondale police officials, the wreck happened at 9:30 p.m. on Interstate 10 westbound, near the Dysart Road interchange. Authorities from DPS said two vehicles collided in the westbound lanes of I-10, but it’s not clear how the accident occurred at this time.
At least one person was seriously injured in the accident and transported to a local hospital via ambulance. Authorities closed the westbound lanes of I-10 for about an hour to investigate, though they have not released further details.
