Benson, AZ – Rollover Accident with Injuries on AZ-90
Benson, AZ (October 8, 2019) – On October 3rd, police confirmed that a rollover accident took place on AZ-90 that led to injuries in two parties in Benson, close to the Tucson area.
Police claim that a 27-year-old woman was injured and taken to the Canyon Vista Medical Center following the crash, while a 3-year-old was flown to a hospital in Tucson with injuries.
Police have confirmed that the car was headed approximately 90 mph on the highway around 11:30 a.m. that morning when a deputy started chasing after the vehicle. However, just as the deputy was getting close, the car crashed.
The accident, according to authorities, caused severe damages, as the vehicle rolled four times. Police believe that the driver may have been under the influence at that time.
The investigation into the accident continues.
