Black Canyon City, AZ (April 26, 2020) – A serious multi-vehicle crash that resulted in injuries was reported on Interstate 17 Sunday night near Black Canyon City.

According to officials from the Arizona Department of Public Safety, the crash happened in the southbound lanes of I-17 near milepost 246. Fire rescue officials say at least one person was transported to the hospital, though the severity of those injuries was not disclosed. DPS added that the wreck occurred around 8:00 p.m. and the area was closed for several hours while DPS investigated.
