Buckeye, AZ – Two Rescued After Auto Accident in a Wash Near Tiger Mountain Drive


Buckeye, AZ (July 3, 2019) – An auto accident in Buckeye on Tuesday afternoon, July 2nd, resulted in two people injured.

Two elderly people were taken to the hospital after their car got stuck in a wash near 207th Lane and Tiger Mountain Drive, around 5:30 p.m.

Buckeye police say detectives were conducting an unrelated investigation when they noticed the car stuck in the wash.

With the help of Avondale, Glendale, Goodyear, and Buckeye Valley Fire, Buckeye firefighters used ATVs to get to the site of the auto accident and rescue the two individuals.

One of the patients was airlifted to the hospital in critical condition, but the condition of the other person is unknown at this time, according to officials.
