Casa Grande, AZ – Fatality Reported in Multi-Car Crash on I-10 at Casa Blanca Rd
Casa Grande, AZ (March 4, 2020) – A fatal crash on Wednesday morning closed Interstate 10 and resulted in serious traffic backups, according to Arizona Department of Public Safety officials.
Traffic on the westbound lanes of the I-10 remained backed up at least 8 miles to State Route 187, per a tweet by the Arizona Department of Transportation. Drivers traveling past Phoenix were encouraged to use Interstate 8 and State Route 85, ADOT said. No information about the victim’s identity or how the crash occurred is available at this time, though DPS officials are investigating at this time.
