Casa Grande, AZ – Injuries Reported in Multi-Car Crash on I-10 EB
Casa Grande, AZ (August 13, 2020) – Deputies from the Casa Grande Police Department responded to a multi-vehicle crash on I-10 at milepost 187 on Thursday evening.
Officials say the multi-vehicle accident happened on Interstate 10 eastbound near Casa Grande. Police officers were dispatched to the scene of the accident around 11:00 p.m. The vehicles involved were traveling in the left lanes of I-10 when they collided in an apparent chain-reaction accident, closing the entire freeway. Though officers with the Casa Grande Police Department have not released extensive details regarding the crash, initial reports indicated that two sedans were involved in the crash and one of the vehicles spun out on the highway.
Ambulances and fire rescue units were on the scene and treated those injured and transported victims who needed further care to a local area hospital via ambulance. However, the victims’ information and current conditions have not been released.
