Chandler, AZ (February 23, 2020) – An injury wreck occurred in a construction zone on Interstate 10 near Chandler Boulevard on Sunday afternoon and resulted in at least one serious injury.

Per information from the scene, the wreck occurred when two pickup trucks collided in the left lanes of I-10 eastbound at the Loop 202 Santan construction zone near Chandler Blvd around 4:00 p.m. Police and fire rescue units responded to assist injured victims and investigate the cause of the crash, though they have not released further details at this time.

The accident remains under investigation at this time.
