Chandler, AZ – Car Accident Causes Injuries on SR 347 at Riggs Rd
Chandler, AZ (February 27, 2021) – A crash causing injuries occurred on State Route 347 near Riggs Road on Saturday afternoon in Chandler.
Chandler police said two cars traveling southbound on the SR 347 collided, causing a chain-reaction crash near the Riggs Road intersection around 1:00 p.m. It appears at least one of the drivers was either treated at the scene or transported to the hospital via ambulance with injuries, though further details on their condition have not been released. Three pickup trucks and one sedan were photographed with damage on the shoulder of the highway, but the number of total victims is unknown.
An investigation into the circumstances leading up to the accident continues.
