Chandler, AZ – Fatal Hit-and-Run Crash Reported at Chandler & McQueen Rd
Chandler, AZ (August 31, 2020) – Officers with the Chandler Police Department are investigating a fatal hit-and-run accident that happened in Chandler on Monday night.
Per reports from Chandler authorities, the accident occurred at McQueen Road and Chandler Boulevard around 8:00 p.m. Due to the crash, police restricted the intersection of McQueen and Chandler to investigate. Initial reports stated that at least two vehicles were involved in the crash, though it’s unclear how many fatalities occurred or if injuries were reported in the crash. Chandler EMTs were also at the scene, according to local news footage.
No victim or suspect information has been released about the crash at this time, and it is also unclear if speed or impairment was a factor.
The Chandler Police Department’s investigation into the accident is ongoing.
