Chandler, AZ – One Dead and Two Injured in Crash at Rural Rd & Ray Rd


Chandler, AZ (July 22, 2019) – One person died and two others were injured after a multi-vehicle accident in Chandley on Sunday afternoon, July 21st.

Emergency crews responded to the scene near Rural Road and Ray Road around 1:30 p.m. According to police, two people were taken to the hospital, one in critical condition and one with minor injuries. The third person involved in the wreck was checked on the scene but refused further treatment, per Chandler firefighters.

The patient transported in critical condition, a woman in her 60s, later died from her injuries.

The cause of the crash is under investigation at this time, and the victims’ identities have not been released.
