Chandler, AZ – Woman Struck & Killed in Pedestrian Crash at Alma School Rd
Chandler, AZ (June 19, 2020) – Police are investigating a deadly crash involving a pedestrian that occurred in Chandler on Thursday.
According to reports from the Chandler Police Department, the wreck happened just before 7:30 a.m. in an intersection west of Alma School Road and Ray Road. Chandler police officers say that the pedestrian was hit by a vehicle in the area. EMTs arrived on the scene shortly after the crash occurred and transported the woman to an area hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The driver stopped and stayed at the scene, per reports Sgt. Jason McClimans of the Chandler Police Department. Ray Road was shut down in the area while Chandler police investigated the accident.
