Flagstaff, AZ (January 2, 2020) – A man has died after being hit a train in Flagstaff late Wednesday night.

According to officers from the Flagstaff Police Department, the man, whose identity hasn’t yet been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers initially received a report that two people had been struck by a train but found no other person at the scene. The incident occurred at Route 66 and Ponderosa Parkway in Flagstaff, per the Flagstaff Police Department.

Police are working with Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railway to review video taken in the area and are investigating the accident at this time.
