Flagstaff, AZ – Multi-Vehicle Crash Results in Injuries on I-40 at Parks Rd
Flagstaff, AZ (April 29, 2020) – Multiple cars crashed on Interstate 40 in Flagstaff early Wednesday morning, causing at least one injury requiring treatment by Flagstaff EMTs.
Officers from the Flagstaff Police Department say that the crash happened around 1:00 a.m. on I-40 eastbound near Parks Road at milepost 178. According to the Arizona Department of Transportation, the crash caused the left lanes of eastbound I-40 to be closed but the road has since reopened. Flagstaff EMTs were at the scene of the accident to evaluate and treat the victims but have not released details about their identities or injuries.
It is unclear what caused the accident and how many victims were injured, but the accident remains under investigation at this time.
