Flagstaff, AZ (June 28, 2019) – An auto accident early Thursday morning, June 27th, closed I-40 westbound at milepost 272.
The semi-rollover auto accident occurred around 7:20 a.m. near Flagstaff. Crews were on the scene and working to remove the crash, but it took several hours. The road re-opened around 9:00 a.m. but traffic backups persisted in the area throughout the morning and early afternoon.
The drivers’ identities and their conditions have not been released at this time.
