Gilbert, AZ – 2-Vehicle Collision on AZ-202 Loop

Gilbert, AZ (October 22, 2019) – Around 7:45 a.m. this morning, police responded to the scene of a two-vehicle collision that took place on the AZ-202 Loop.

According to authorities, the accident occurred in the westbound lanes of the highway and partially blocked the right lane of traffic, causing delays in the area.

Police have not yet confirmed the circumstances of the collision but it is believed that it was a rear-end accident and it caused injuries. Paramedics were present at the scene of the accident assisting those with injuries.

Within a short amount of time, police cleared the scene and traffic resumed as normal. Their investigation continues at this time.
