Drowning Accidents in Phoenix
When it comes to residential pool ownership, Phoenix ranks number one in the country. Due to the hot, dry Arizonan weather, many residents own pools. Those residing near water or having access to pools are statistically more likely to experience drowning resulting in injury or death.
Furthermore, drowning is the leading cause of accidental death among toddlers and preschool-aged children. In fact, statistics show that nearly 400 children under the age of 15 drown each year across the country. Drowning accidents can result in tragic, unforeseen circumstances for victims and their families. But those affected by these unfortunate incidents can contact a personal injury lawyer, especially when they’ve been involved in drowning accidents due to the negligent actions of other parties.
