Drowning Accidents in Arizona
Phoenix ranks number one in the country when it comes to private pools per capita. Due to the warm, dry weather in Arizona, most people have their own pools. Statistically, those who live near water or have exposure to water elements are more likely to experience drowning resulting in injury or death.
Drowning is the leading cause of accidental death among toddlers and preschool-aged children. In fact, statistics show that nearly 400 children under the age of 15 drown each year across the country. Drowning accidents can result in tragic, unforeseen circumstances for victims and their families. But those affected by these unfortunate incidents can contact a personal injury lawyer, especially when they’ve been involved in drowning accidents due to the negligent actions of other parties.
