Glendale, AZ – Efren Ramos Dies in Pedestrian Crash at 75th Ave & Camelback Rd
Glendale, AZ (April 27, 2020) – A 70-year-old man has died after getting hit by a car in Glendale on Sunday night.
Per reports from officers with the Glendale Police Department, the wreck happened in the area of 75th Avenue and Camelback Road around 8:00 p.m. After officers arrived on the scene, they found the man, later identified as Efren Ramos, deceased. Detectives determined that Ramos was standing near the curb lane of westbound Camelback Road when he was struck.
The driver of the car stayed and was questioned by the police, but the investigation is ongoing. Camelback Road was closed between 75th and 73rd avenues for several hours while officers investigated.
