Glendale, AZ – Man Hit & Killed in Pedestrian Crash at 51st Ave & W Missouri Ave
Glendale, AZ (September 28, 2020) – A man has died after being hit by a vehicle in Glendale on Monday night.
According to reports from the Glendale Police Department, a man was hit by the vehicle traveling along 51st Avenue near West Missouri Avenue around 6:40 p.m. Glendale EMTs were dispatched to the area shortly after the crash, but medical authorities say that the man died at the scene.
Officials were not able to say if whether the vehicle involved stayed at the scene and they did not give additional details about the vehicle or the driver. The northbound and southbound lanes of 51st Avenue were closed from Camelback Road to Missouri Avenue while officers investigated. Additional information was not available, and the identity of the deceased victim has not been released.
